About Me 

Hello,

My name is Linda Costello from Anam Buí Holistics

I'm a Divine Essence Crystal Healing (DECH) practitioner and Teacher with the Divine Essence Crystal Healing Academy, A Community Herbalist Trained by the Plant Medicine School Cork, an Usui Reiki Practitioner, and Celtic Shamanic Practitioner. 

I am a Kerry native, based in Cork City, Ireland offering a range of healing services in-person and online/remotely.
My own healing journey has been one of transformation over 13 years, transmuting deep pain and grief stemming from abuse, trauma and mental illness in adolescence, to forge a thriving life of love, vitality, positive experience, personal and professional success.

Why work with me

I believe that healing is a process of radical honesty and courage, where one learns to heal and integrate lessons of the pain and wounding that our souls have carried within this lifetime, and before. It has been my experience that facing the past in an honest way, engaging with the inner child and having the bravery to face the parts of ourselves that feel shame, pain, hurt, abandonment etc. is the key to freeing ourselves from that pain and thus returning back to the state of perfect union with life, our inner parts and God. 

A student of the Law of One, a lot of the work I do focuses on helping people re-engage with their relationship with the divine in a way that respects and honours the person. As a community herbalist, Celtic Shamanic Practitioner and D.E.C.H. crystal healer, I draw on the earth wisdom to help empower others to heal themselves.

I also create blogs discussing Irish culture and society from a holistic lens, as well as various other spirituality related topics. The aim of which is to help people understand themselves in a more complete way.

I explored many modalities - both mainstream and holistic - and whilst I will not tell anyone to choose one approach over another, I will say that leaning into the earth based healing modalities of herbalism, celtic shamanism and crystal healing, and developing an internal understanding of my journey from a soul perspective has been profoundly transformational for me on my journey. Everything I offer I have tried myself, and I firmly believe in the capacity that these modalities hold in bringing clarity and healing. 

I chose the name "Anam Buí ", which translates to "Yellow Soul" in Irish because this reminded me of my favourite plant, which is Gorse, as well as my favourite crystal, which is Bumblebee Jasper. Gorse, which grows native to Ireland is covered in spines at the stem, with lovely yellow flowers on top. After a fire, Gorse seeds begin to germinate, reflecting the cycle of purifying and burning away the old to make way for the new. Bumblebee Jasper, found in Mount Papandayan in West Java, Indonesia, forms in volcanos and through fire and pressure, this beautiful yellow stone is born.  I feel that my own life experience of finding joy at the end of the years of tribulation is reflected in these two earthly gifts, and thus the name "Anam Buí " is both a testament to my own journey, as well as the capacity to birth something wonderful from pressure, fire, challenge and adversity.
